The only mention of tattoos in the Bible comes from the old testament in Leviticus 19:28 (NIV): “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.” Okay, but according to the New Testament what did Jesus himself think of tattoos? It doesn’t say, but he definitely saw them and easily could have commented on them. Tattoos were around thousands of years prior to the first Christmas – many were quite large and elaborate (see multicolored example below). Even the three wise men might’ve had them. So why do I bring this up? Well, it’s because I have often heard from my clients that they feel ashamed of their tattoos.
All of us make artistic decisions we ultimately regret but no one expects you or your tattoos to be perfect. Besides, I can easily remove them with the first and only revolutionary PicoSure laser, which is obviously something our ancestors didn’t have access to. Undoubtedly, a good number of these mummies were less than thrilled with their ink and they had no recourse but to do a cover-up tattoo. Speaking of which, I do a ton of PicoSure fades for artists who perform cover-up tattoos.
If you have a tattoo you’re less than thrilled with give me a call at Austin Medspa and let’s talk about your total removal or fading options. Make no mistake, you are beautiful, and with my help and the PicoSure laser, you can achieve any look you desire. I won’t judge your ink and neither should anyone else.
