POS Q-switched Lasers Leave Hideous Tattoo Remnants!

Are you frustrated with the lack of progress on your POS q-switched laser tattoo removal? Have you had four or more treatments and your tattoo has hardly budged?  Well you’re not alone.  Millions of patients out there have “tattoo remnants” that are scarred from improper treatment and the remaining ink is practically burnt into their skin.  See image below of patient who’d had numerous treatments and was left with a hideous sleeve remnant that I completely cleared in just two treatments.

What causes this? Many practitioners buy an inferior POS q-switched (the q stands for quality – seriously) and overpromise what they can do with it.  Q-switched lasers were invented when the majority of tattoos were laid down with cheap India ink and weak pigments.  Today’s tattoos are made from inks that are lightfast (resistant to UV radiation like lasers).  Dye manufacturers add metals, pure carbon and dozens of other ingredients to their inks to make them vibrant, colorful and tough.

While POS lasers use photothermal (heating up the ink) action alone, PicoSure workstations use photomechanical action. This means a powerful PressureWave, made even stronger with the Boost upgrade, shatters the ink and pushes it out of its niche without damaging the skin.  The result: better clearance in fewer treatments and little or no side effects.

If you’re walking around with a partially removed tattoo that you want completely gone once and for all I can be reached  by phone @ 512-479-9997  or just stop by my NEW location in Austin, TX:  Austin Medspa on W. 6th St.
